Santa Barbara Student Special Rates: If you are or about to be a student in Santa Barbara, we offer three affordable options for staying in town close to the beach, SBCC, and State Street.

The first is West Beach Student House, located at 134 Chapala Street. When available, the rates are $125 weekly for a bed in a shared dorm from September 5th 2007 to March 31 2008, and $135 per week from April 1 through May 26th 2008. Rental applications are available here Conveniently located walking or biking distance to SBCC, one and a half blocks from West beach, and one block from State St. Stay here by-the-week until you find an apartment (2-week min) or stay the whole semester. Great for SBCC, language schools, Brooks, or any other full time (min 9 units) college student in Santa Barbara - proof of enrollment required.

From May to September students can also stay at 134 Chapala Street, but in the summer this location becomes Santa Barbara Tourist Hostel and is a bustling, world-class international hostel.  We have private rooms and shared dorms, prices start at $20 per night in a dorm, and are seasonally adjusted.  To make a reservation at the hostel, click on this reservations link.  This is a great option if you are arriving in Santa Barbara and can't afford the high priced hotel rooms in town, but need a place to stay while looking for an apartment.  We are also walking distance to all the language schools and SBCC

The third option is for those students who want their own apartment; we can offer Haley Cottage Studios, small studios in a cute student complex at 227 East Haley Street.  Each cottage studio has its own entrance, kitchenette and bathroom and comes furnished with bed, desk, plates, cups etc.  We also pay for all utilities and hi-speed internet access.  Prices per month are $945-$1095 (exact price depends on which studio you get) all inclusive; the lease is 4 or 9 months and the studios are available for lease early September to late May.
