Train: Directly across the tracks, toward the beach.
Bus: Walk 1 block to State St. then 8 blocks down or take the 25¢ Downtown Shuttle to train station at Yanonali St.
Driving from the South: Exit 101 at Cabrillo Blvd, go left and follow beachfront past State St., take the next right on Chapala St., and we are 2 blocks up on the right.
Driving from the North: Exit 101 at Garden St. and turn right, follow to the beach, turn right on Cabrillo Blvd, pass State St., and take the next right on Chapala St. Find us 2 blocks up on the right, at Yanonali St

By train (AMTRAK):
- LAX Shuttle to Union Station (AMTRAK) only $4, then take the train to Santa Barbara. Click for LAXflyAway.
- It is difficult to get from LAX to the LA Union Station (AMTRAK) using "Subways", but it is possible. Check Metrolink
By bus:
- Silverado - Coast Flyer offers shuttle bus service to and from LAX and Santa Barbara, dropping you off at the Santa Barbara Tourist Hostel and AMTRAK station. Currently $35 each way, check here for reservations and more information.
- Santa Barbara AirBus from LAX to Santa Barbara $42 to $46 each way. They offer frequent trips but are slightly more expensive than Coast Flyer and drop you off further away from SB Hostel. Drops you off at Hotel MarMonte 1111 E. Cabrillo Blvd, you can walk 10 blocks to the Tourist Hostel or for only $0.25 you can take the Santa Barbara Downtown Waterfront Shuttle from the MarMonte to the Tourist Hostel by getting off at the AMTRAK station stop.
